About this adventure

Winterhawks ICE Center's figure skaters stage their annual holiday production of The Nutcracker On Ice in the Beaverton rink. The show follows Clara from the Christmas party through sparkling snow scenes to the Land of Sweets, with the familiar characters played by local skaters of many ages and levels from the center's figure skating program. It is a one-night performance, a good fit for families with young ballet fans or children who skate themselves and want to see what club skaters can do, and it runs in the evening in the arena's seating sections rather than a theater, so bring a warm layer for the rink. Seats are sold by section, with back-row gray areas cheaper than the white areas nearer the ice. Tickets go on sale December 1, 2026 and must be bought in person at the rink or by phone; the center is not selling tickets online for this show.
