About this adventure
East Providence's Weaver Library hosts its eighth annual Pumpkin Stroll on the library lawn on the Thursday evening before Halloween. Families bring a carved pumpkin to enter the carving contest, come in costume for the costume contest, and enjoy music, food trucks and a story time outdoors. The library handed out free pumpkins to carve the week before (one per family while supplies lasted). It is an easy early-evening Halloween outing for young children before the holiday weekend.
