About this adventure
The city's year-round greenhouse complex in Roger Williams Park. Admission covers the greenhouses and the outdoor grounds, including a winding rose maze, a native plant meadow, a lakeside pavilion and gazebo, and an edible forest. For children there is an indoor play area in Greenhouse 3 stocked with books, coloring supplies, a train track and a doll house, plus an outdoor play area outside Greenhouse 4 with natural features to climb over and under. Families can bring a packed lunch to the tables in Greenhouse 3 next to the play area. Kids Adventure Packs (nature-themed backpacks) can be borrowed at the ticket booth: packs 1 and 2 suit ages 3–7, packs 3 and 4 ages 8–11, with a $2 rental fee for non-members. Pre-registration is strongly suggested for all visitors.
