About this adventure

Frosty Drew opens Ninigret Park overnight for the Quadrantid meteor shower. At its peak it can produce upwards of 120 bright meteors an hour, many of them fireballs. In 2027 the thin Moon rises only before dawn, so the whole night stays dark. The peak is brief, only 3 to 6 hours, and is hard to predict; the observatory will post timing updates on the event page. Dress for deep cold and bring blankets or a reclining chair. No ticket is needed; a $5 donation is suggested.
