About this adventure
An after-school coding hour at Weaver Library in East Providence where children ages 7 and up take the controls of the library's Dash and Botley robots. Kids steer the robots through obstacles and work out coding challenges, an approachable introduction to sequencing and programming logic with hands-on, screen-light robots. The library lists no registration requirement. It is a good fit for children who enjoy LEGO, puzzles or video games and want to see how instructions make a machine move; parents can stay and help younger coders. The hour-long session runs in the Weaver Library program room right after school.
