About this adventure

Frosty Drew's Halloween night under the stars in Ninigret Park. Astronomers point telescopes at Saturn and, later, at planetary nebulae, the ghostly remains of dying stars. The Observatory is decked out with spooky sights and sounds, and there is candy all night. Kids can join a story time under the willow at 6:15 and 8:45 pm and follow a scavenger hunt around the campus. The Sky Theatre plays the 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast at 7:00 and 9:15 pm. There are two sessions, starting at 6:00 and 8:30 pm. Buy tickets online in advance; anyone over four needs one. Costumes welcome; the event runs whatever the weather.
