About this adventure

Chabad of Cary marks the start of Chanukah, the Jewish eight-day festival of lights, with an afternoon festival at the Apex Senior Center in downtown Apex. The Town lists it as a community event: there are games, crafts and food inside, and the afternoon ends outdoors with the lighting of a menorah on the Town Hall Campus. It runs rain or shine, and staff give directions at the event if the outdoor ceremony has to change. All Town Hall Campus lots are open except the arc lot between Town Hall and the John M. Brown Community Center, so plan a short walk from a nearby downtown lot. A relaxed way for families of any background to see a menorah lit and do a holiday craft together.
