About this adventure
One of the museum's Research Highlight Days, filling the first and third floors of the Nature Research Center with astronomy tables. Visitors can try Spiral Graph: Cluster Buster, the museum's online citizen-science project for tracing the arms of spiral galaxies; ask the Raleigh Astronomy Club about telescopes; see undergraduate astrophysics research from Appalachian State; and look at meteorites from the asteroid belt, the Moon and Mars from the museum collection. It is a drop-in day that works for curious school-age kids and teens who like space, and you can spend as long as you like at each table.
