About this adventure

Youngsville's branch of the Franklin County Library runs a Family Storytime on Tuesday mornings for children from birth to age 5 together with their parents, grandparents or caregivers. The 45-minute session strings together picture books, songs and rhymes picked to nurture pre-reading skills, so babies hear rhythm and language, toddlers join in with actions, and preschoolers practice listening and following a story. It is a handy weekday outing for families in southern Franklin County and the Wake Forest–Youngsville corridor along US-1A. The county calendar lists sessions on Nov 3, 10 and 17, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:15 am, before the library's Thanksgiving closure; check the calendar for December and January dates. No registration is mentioned. On Saturdays the same branch hosts ABC Craft & Learn in the morning and STEAM Free Play in the afternoon, and on Tuesday afternoons an Afternoon Adventures STEAM hour for kindergarten through fifth grade.
