About this adventure

HollyFest is Holly Springs' free, family-friendly fall festival at the Jefferson L. Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park, and on Halloween 2026 it carries extra elements for the town's 150th anniversary. The day features local artists, businesses, food vendors, live local entertainment and children's activities. The anniversary additions include a mini pumpkin patch where the first 1,000 children pick and decorate a free mini pumpkin (crafts continue after the pumpkins run out), hourly guided line-dancing sessions from 10 am to 3 pm, a single-day festival scavenger hunt played on the free HollyQuest app with prizes for teams that finish, and a walk-through historical timeline of the town. Children can also see fire engines, emergency vehicles and yard-waste trucks up close at the Town department tents. The festival runs rain or shine; parking is limited near the farm and street parking in nearby neighborhoods is prohibited, so allow time, and plan pick-ups at Womble Park. Pets must be leashed.
