About this adventure

The 5th annual Inland Valley Turkey Trot takes over Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Lago Vista Sports Park in Menifee, with flat routes on the sidewalks and bike paths along Menifee Lakes. Older kids and adults can choose a 2-mile run, a 5K or a 10K, or attempt all three in the Endurance Challenge, which is capped at 20 runners. Young children get their own Kids Fun Run, a short dash for ages 2 to 8 at 9:45 a.m., and parents may run or walk beside them; every child receives a participant medal and a donut. Entry to the timed races includes a 2026 T-shirt, a finisher's medal, a chip-timed bib, free race photos, a churro and post-race snacks, and families can register together as a team. The course is open, so streets stay open to traffic while runners keep to the sidewalks and bicycle paths. At the start/finish area Barons Market hands out fruit and water, and breakfast burritos and coffee are sold on site.
