About this adventure
A Thanksgiving-morning 5K that invites people to run, walk or simply wobble to the finish before the holiday meal. The organizer, Chicks in Crisis, describes it as family-friendly, so strollers and kids walking with parents fit the spirit, and proceeds support the nonprofit's pregnancy, parenting, adoption and education services for families. The start is listed at 8280 Longleaf Drive in the Laguna area of Elk Grove, with the event window 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Registration, fees and any kids' divisions are handled on the organizer's own Gobble Wobble page.
