Li'l Sprouts in the Garden — Toddler Farm Classes at Soil Born Farms

About this adventure

Li'l Sprouts are 90-minute multi-sensory farm sessions for toddlers aged 3 to 5 with one adult chaperone at Soil Born Farms' American River Ranch in Rancho Cordova. Each Saturday has its own theme with songs, games, stories and hands-on exploration: Paper Pumpkin Painting (October 24) has children painting with sponges, marbles and paper to build fine-motor skills; Colorful Leaf Adventure (November 21) sends them searching the garden for leaves to sort by color and turn into leaf bugs and take-home garlands; and Winter Crafts and Warm Tea (December 12), the last class before winter break, has kids harvest herbs to brew tea, make winter art and sip tea at story time. To keep the groups small, older siblings and extra adults may not join; one adult may chaperone two registered children. Each class is $15 per toddler with the chaperone free, and registration is online with spaces counted per class. No refunds; credit with two business days' notice.
