Little Tykes Family Nature Programs at Placer Nature Center

Little Tykes are parent-and-child nature classes at Placer Nature Center in Auburn, offered in spring, summer and fall and designed for children 2 to 6 years old, though older siblings and adults join in too. Each month has two new class topics, repeated on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so families can pick the day that works; most families sign up for two days a month. It is not a drop-off program: a parent or guardian stays with the child. Classes usually fill, so places are reserved first come, first served through the center's registration form, and completing the form commits you to attend and pay for the classes chosen.
