Music of Nature is a 45-minute sing-and-move session for babies, toddlers and preschoolers ages 0 to 5 in the outdoor amphitheater at Effie Yeaw Nature Center in Carmichael. Ms. Phoebe of Grow Resilient Families leads the group with her ukulele and more, and children sing, wiggle, stomp and shake along while celebrating nature. The center describes it as a monthly program on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., but the booking box on the same page still shows a single date of Saturday, August 8, so confirm the next session date when booking. Tuition is $25 per household, with 25% off for center members (enter the code EYNC; membership is verified before class). Adult supervision is required. Because the class is held outdoors, dress little ones for the weather; the nature center is inside Ancil Hoffman County Park, where parking is $8 per vehicle unless you are a member or have a County Park Pass.
