About this adventure

Granlibakken Tahoe throws a New Year's Eve sledding party on its lit sled hill above Tahoe City, with two sessions to choose from: 5 to 6:30 PM or 7 to 8:30 PM. Sledders ride saucers (included with the party ticket) under the stars to festive music, then warm up in the ski hut by the wood-burning fireplace. The early session is the natural pick for families with younger children who won't last until midnight. Beer, wine and other winter drinks are sold for the adults. Tickets are sold online in advance through the resort's booking page; dress in waterproof layers, gloves and snow boots as for any session on the hill.
