The Rancho Cordova Library's monthly STEAM for Kids session on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. turns to sculpture: children build three-dimensional art out of Play-Doh. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art and math, and this drop-in hour is a hands-on way for school-age kids to try shaping, balancing and designing small structures and figures with a familiar material. The library supplies everything, so nothing needs to be brought from home. The program is designed for kids ages 6 to 12; no registration is needed and drop-ins are welcome. It is free. Note that this is a different session from the branch's LEGO-building STEAM afternoon in December.
