As part of the Downtown Holiday Celebration, local businesses, organizations and schools decorate festive trees throughout Vernon Street Town Square. On the evening of December 2, families can watch the grove light up, make holiday crafts, listen to holiday music, visit with Santa and shop local vendors for handmade gifts. It runs from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, the night before the city's main tree lighting. No fee is mentioned.
