The Scobee Education Center at San Antonio College runs public planetarium shows every Friday night. The 6:30 pm show is an animated, child-friendly program for all ages, the best pick for families with preschoolers. The 8:00 pm show and the 9:30 pm double feature are for older audiences: children must be 6 or older to get in. Doors open at 6 pm. Tickets can be bought online a week in advance or at the Lackey Camper-Casper Ticket Booth inside the center after doors open. The center sits near the western campus entrance at San Pedro Avenue and West Myrtle Street; park in Garage #3 off San Pedro Avenue to avoid Friday-night parking fees.
