The USS Midway Museum hosts a family Halloween night on its flight deck, which the museum describes as fun for all ages. Before the film there is a live DJ, a hunt for Captain Jack Marrow's missing skeleton crew, photo spots and treats, plus a costume contest with cash prizes: $500 for a family or group costume (two or more people) and $300 for the best individual costume. After dark, Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (rated PG-13, 2 hours 23 minutes) is shown outdoors among the ship's aircraft. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are online only, with a limit of 10 per transaction; you can bring your own lightweight lawn chair or buy a chair bundle. Children 3 and under are free and need no ticket. Food and drinks are for sale.
