About this adventure
A Thanksgiving-morning race at 4S Ranch Sports Park with a 10K, a 5K and a Kids 1K Fun Run, set up so families can run, walk or cheer together before the holiday meal. The 10K starts at 7:15 am and the 5K at 7:30 am; 5K awards follow at 8:30, then the Kids 1K Fun Run at 8:45 am, with 10K awards and a turkey-themed costume contest at 9:00. Every participant receives a participation shirt and raffle entry, and age-division awards are given. Proceeds benefit Active Kids Alliance, which funds sports scholarships for children in need. Register ahead on the race's RunSignup page; the kids' run can be signed up for through Thanksgiving Day, while adult prices rise after October 31. A virtual 5K is also offered for families who cannot attend.
