Cygnet Theatre

Cygnet Theatre's annual staging of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol returns for the holiday season, now in the company's new home at The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center at Liberty Station in Point Loma, in the Joseph Clayes III Theater. The production tells the familiar story of Ebenezer Scrooge's night with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come with music, carols and stage effects, and Cygnet pitches it as a family tradition for audiences of all ages. It runs about two hours with one intermission. Parents of younger children should note the theatre's warnings: the show may contain strobe lights, loud noises, fog and images that might frighten young children, and children younger than 5 are not admitted. Performances run from Tuesday, November 24, through December 24, 2026; the show page lists Thanksgiving-week performances first, and the full calendar of dates and showtimes is on the ticketing page. For wheelchair or ADA seating, call the box office on 619-337-1525.
