The Wabi Sabi Players perform La Llorona (The Weeping Woman), the Mexican and Latin American folk tale of a grieving mother who wanders the rivers at night, in the Vista Library's Community Room. Timed just after Día de los Muertos, the one-hour afternoon performance introduces children and families to a story many grow up hearing from grandparents. The library tags it for every audience from Birth to Five through older adults; registration is through the library's event system, so reserve a seat in advance. Parents of very young or sensitive children may want to preview the story, since it is a ghost legend.
