About this adventure

A holiday show staged by children: the Broadway Theater's winter performance workshop ends with The Nightmare Before Christmas, played by a cast of kids roughly 7 to 15 years old who rehearse on Saturdays from early November. Jack Skellington's attempt to take over Christmas is a natural fit for families with children who like their holidays a little spooky, and the theater says its youth shows are fully produced with set, costumes, lighting and sound. There are two showings on each of two evenings during the first days of winter break. Tickets are sold per showing at a low family price; everyone in the cast sells tickets, so families can also buy from a performer. The theater is a small historic house in downtown Vista, close to Main Street restaurants for dinner before or after.
