The City of Alameda Recreation & Parks Department's 21st annual Haunted House, 'A Journey Through Darkness', is created by teen volunteers for all ages to enjoy. It runs three days at South Shore Shopping Center, between Daiso and TJ Maxx: Friday, October 23, 2026 and Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Tickets are purchased at the door (cash or physical card): free for ages 0–3, $5.00 for ages 4–17 and $8.00 for ages 18 and up. The page links to South Shore Center's separate Halloween Family Fest.
