About this adventure

The City of Pinole's annual Holiday Tree Lighting takes place at Community Corner, at San Pablo Avenue and Tennent Avenue, on the afternoon of Saturday, December 5. From 3 to 6 PM families can join children's activities and pick up dinner from the food trucks parked for the event, and the afternoon builds to the annual ceremony that switches on the town's holiday tree. The city's Community Services Department runs the event, and the afternoon timing means the ceremony comes early enough for young children. If rain is expected, everything moves indoors to the Pinole Senior Center on Charles Avenue, so check the city's page on the day if the forecast is wet. Questions go to the Community Services Department by email.
