Livermore Downtown Inc.'s annual Holiday Sights and Sounds Parade & Tree Lighting is Saturday, December 5, 2026. The parade starts at 6:00 pm on First Street in downtown Livermore with floats and performances by local businesses, bands, schools and clubs; Livermore-Pleasanton Fire escorts Santa to the parade, a children's choir from local LVJUSD schools welcomes Santa onto the stage, and a community sing-along and countdown lead into the tree lighting, which immediately follows the parade. The event is held rain or shine. A Holiday Open House downtown is listed the same day.
