About this adventure
The Walnut Creek K-12 Quads is a three-round, USCF-rated chess tournament for students. First-time tournament players are grouped with other first-timers, while experienced players face others of similar rating. Current USCF membership is required. Supervision is provided, so drop-off is welcome. Top players in every quad win trophies and all other players receive a participation medal, and boards, sets and clocks are supplied.
