About this adventure
Tales for Tots is a parent-and-child zoo class for 1- to 3-year-olds on Friday mornings at Happy Hollow. Each hour-long session mixes animal topics with early-learning basics such as letters, counting and motor skills, and gives toddlers practice with sharing, listening and following directions alongside their grown-up. Upcoming themes: Shake, Rattle & Roll (November 6), where little ones make shaker rattles to dance to; Spiders, Snakes & Slithery Things (November 20), on how creatures with eight legs or none sense the world; Touch Tables (December 4), a session of wildlife touchables, songs and play; and Color Kaleidoscope (December 11), crafting multi-colored crayons inspired by animal patterns. The fee covers one child and one adult; Happy Hollow members get 10% off.
