The last night of the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival ends on the north shore of Lake Union. After stops at Ivar's Salmon House and Fritz Hedges Waterway Park, the lit-up Christmas Ship with The Dickens Carolers on board pulls in off Gas Works Park for a 20-minute shoreline performance from 9:10 to 9:30 pm, with decorated boats from around the region joining the final sailing. Gas Works Park is one of the stops Argosy marks as a planned public onshore event, so families can gather on the hillside to hear carols carried across the water without buying a ticket. It is a late and cold event: bring warm layers, a flashlight and a plan for parking around Wallingford.
