About this adventure

Alton Parks and Recreation fills the Muenstermann Building at Gordon Moore Park with Christmas trees, an indoor snowman and paper snowflakes for a Saturday of children's holiday workshops. Kids make holiday crafts, play games, explore 'gingerbread' playhouses and sing carols, and both sessions include hot chocolate and a sweet treat. The full workshop is a drop-off-length day for children 5 and older, running from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with lunch included. A shorter mini workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. is for children 3 and older together with a parent. Online registration through the city's recreation site is required, and space is limited by session.
