About this adventure
An evening parent-and-child cooking class at Kitchen Conservatory built around the red, green and white of the Italian flag. Led by culinary educator Alex Caspero, each pair makes fresh pasta with a fresh tomato-basil sauce, homemade pesto tossed with gemelli (a twisted pasta shape), cherry tomato, mozzarella and basil caprese skewers with a balsamic drizzle, a cheesy pull-apart garlic loaf, and chocolate Biscoff truffles for dessert. The class is hands-on, so children 7 to 11 measure, roll and cook alongside their grown-up, and the two eat what they make. It runs about two and a half hours. The class is already sold out; the store keeps a phone waitlist for cancellations.
