On the day after Thanksgiving, Santa Claus visits the National Museum of Transportation from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Santa visits are included with museum admission, and families may take their own photos; no photographer will be on hand. On busy days the line for Santa forms outdoors, so dress for the weather. Live reindeer are also at the museum from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Thompson Park, again included with admission. The museum says hours for the Creation Station, the Wm. F. Ross Special Miniature Train and the Holly Jolly Trolley vary during the holiday season and asks visitors to check each schedule before coming. Regular admission is $16 for ages 13-64 and $8 for kids ages 2-12; miniature train rides are an extra $7.
