Santa's Magical Kingdom

A drive-through Christmas light display at Jellystone Park St. Louis Eureka, next to Six Flags off I-44. Families stay in the car and drive past millions of lights, animated scenes and special effects; the attraction also offers separately booked train and wagon rides and a general store. The site lists the season as November 20 to January 3, open every night including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve. Hours are 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. through December 24 and 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. from December 25 to January 3; arrive 20 to 30 minutes before closing. Admission is per vehicle and cash only, paid as you exit (an ATM is in the store): $35 per family vehicle on most nights and $40 on Saturdays, with $60 for 12- to 15-passenger vans, limos and small buses. Weeknights early in the season are least crowded; Saturday nights in December before Christmas are the busiest.
