Gateway Arch Park Foundation rings in 2027 early enough for families at its New Year's Eve "Neon Nights" celebration in Kiener Plaza on Thursday, Dec. 31, from 4 to 8 p.m. The foundation bills it as a family-friendly party: character visits run from 4 to 6 p.m., a DJ plays all evening, the band The Dirty Muggz and fire dancers perform from 6 to 8 p.m., and party decorations, 3-D glasses and glow products are handed out while supplies last. A fireworks show with views of the Arch starts at 8 p.m. The Winterfest ice rink is open daily over the holiday break, so skating can be part of the evening. Admission is free; the foundation asks guests to RSVP through Eventbrite.
