THE POLAR EXPRESS train ride returns to St. Louis Union Station in 2026: real trains roll to the 'North Pole' with Santa and his elves. Departures at 4:30, 6:00, 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. (doors open an hour before; train doors close 10 minutes before departure and late guests cannot board). Children 2 and under ride free on a lap. Event parking is $5 per car in the main Union Station lot off 18th Street (card only).
