The Kiwanis Club of Brooksville, chartered in 1923, presents its 52nd annual Christmas parade through downtown Brooksville on Saturday morning, December 12. This year's theme is "250 Years of Christmas in America," a nod to the nation's 250th anniversary, and parade entries are invited to build on it. It is a classic small-town holiday parade in the historic downtown around the Hernando County Courthouse, and the 10 a.m. start makes it an easy outing with young children, who can claim a curbside spot downtown before it begins. Local groups, businesses and families who want to take part can enter through the club's 2026 parade entry form, linked from the Kiwanis parade page. The club's page does not list the route, so plan to arrive early and park a few blocks away from Main Street.
