About this adventure
The Pioneer Florida Museum & Village in Dade City hosts a Civil War reenactment as one of its fall living-history days, a chance for school-age kids studying American history to see uniformed reenactors and period demonstrations up close rather than in a textbook. The public day is Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM; the Friday before (November 13, 9 AM – 1 PM) is a Civil War History Field Trip Day for school groups. Between demonstrations, families can explore the museum's historic village, where authentic pioneer buildings and exhibits cover Florida life before 1945. The museum notes that special-event admission may differ from its regular rates (adults $12, students $6, under 5 free), so confirm the price before you go. Museum concessions are cash only, and pets and coolers are not allowed.
