A 258-acre park on Tampa Bay, eighteen miles south of Tampa and three miles north of Ruskin, developed from native mangroves and waterways, with 200 acres of mangrove swamp reserved as a bird and wildlife sanctuary where roseate spoonbills and bald eagles can be seen. Families can walk 700 feet of bay beach, use the swimming area, play volleyball, fish from the pier, rent a kayak at the entry station and use two playgrounds. The campground has 110 sites with electricity, water, picnic tables and fire pits, restrooms and hot showers.
