About this adventure
A collection of restored World War I and World War II aircraft in rural Virginia Beach, many of which still fly. The planes take unscheduled flights through the week, and Summer of Flight demonstrations are included with admission. The main museum buildings are self-guided. Free docent-led tours leave the lobby at 10:30 am, noon, 1:30 pm and 3 pm and can include historic buildings such as the Cottbus Luftwaffe Hangar and the Goxhill Watch Office. Tours have limited space, so arrive early. The Fighter Factory restoration shop isn't open to the public. No pets, and no hoverboards or similar devices on the field.
