About this adventure

A family-friendly, not-scary Halloween evening at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News. Children in costume follow a trail of treat stations through the museum after dark, meet Animal Ambassadors, look at insects and spiders at the Bugtacular displays and visit a Mad Scientist's Lab. New this year, the outdoor Corn-servation Lawn has a corn maze, a corn pit and Candy Corn-hole, and Fright Light Halloween laser shows in the planetarium are included with event admission. A Quiet Zone with paper pumpkin decorating gives overwhelmed kids a calmer break. Halloween slime-making costs extra. Costumes are encouraged. Advance tickets are cheaper than weekend-of prices.
