About this adventure

A monthly after-hours astronomy night at the Virginia Living Museum. Doors open at 5 pm. At 6 pm the live planetarium show The Sky Tonight shows which constellations, planets and events are visible this month, followed by music laser shows: Laser Genesis at 7 pm, Laser Queen at 8:30 pm and Pink Floyd's The Wall at 10 pm. After sunset, weather permitting, staff and volunteers set up telescopes in the Abbitt Observatory or the Conservation Garden for free observing with event admission. Families with younger children may want to come for the early planetarium show and telescopes. Laser show seats are limited and best reserved ahead. The museum closes at 11:30 pm.
