Hard Rock Cafe's downtown Washington restaurant on E Street hosts a ticketed Breakfast with Santa on the Saturday before Christmas week. Families sit down to a family-style breakfast with drinks, and Santa Claus visits the room: each child gets to meet him, have a photo taken with him, receive a small holiday surprise and join a festive craft activity. The two-hour seating (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) suits toddlers through early-elementary children who still want a Santa photo. Tickets are sold in advance through TicketWeb and priced per person: the adult ticket includes breakfast, a beverage and a mimosa, the child ticket (ages 3 and up) includes breakfast, a beverage and the photo with Santa, and children 2 and under are free.
