On the first Thursday of each month Wheaton Ice Arena runs a Parent and Tot Skate at 10:45 am followed by a themed coloring craft in the party room. In this window the sessions are November 5, 2026 ('Turkey Time') and December 3, 2026 ('Winter Wonderland'), each running until about 12:15 pm. Admission for the skating time covers one child aged 3–4 and one parent, with skate rental included: $10 in November and $5 in December. No registration is required. It is a gentle first time on the ice for preschoolers with a grown-up holding their hand.
