Organizer

Montgomery Parks (M-NCPPC)

Wheaton Ice Arena is Montgomery Parks' indoor rink in Wheaton Regional Park, open year-round with daily public skating, classes and camps. The fall public schedule (from September 1) offers public sessions every day except Monday: Sunday 11 am and 3 pm sessions, weekday midday and late-afternoon skates, and two Saturday sessions. Toddlers get their own time on the ice: Parent and Tot sessions run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday late mornings for one adult and one tot aged 3–4, with skate rental included; older siblings and extra adults pay regular admission. A few morning and midday sessions are adult sessions. Admission tickets are sold in person only, per session and per person, and group lesson cards must be shown in person for public-session access. The arena also hosts the monthly Skate and Create parent-and-tot mornings, a Veterans Day skate and a winter ice show. Groups of ten or more can book a weekday rate with rentals at least 48 hours ahead.
