About this adventure
Woodstock Arts' annual Día de los Muertos festival takes over its Event Green in downtown Woodstock for a free weekend of music, games and traditions. Families can watch Mariachi Buhos de Oro perform, join a salsa dancing class, play rounds of lotería, browse local art and food vendors and add a photo or memento to the community ofrenda honoring loved ones who have died. Singer Sofi G opens the Saturday program, and the day ends with a movie on the green. It is an easy, low-cost outing for all ages in walking distance of Main Street's restaurants; parking in the City Center East deck (Arnold Mill Rd and Chambers Street) and the lot next to Woodstock Arts Theatre is free.
