The City of Norcross runs complimentary carriage rides through its decorated downtown on Thursday and Friday evenings in the first half of December. Riders board in Skin Alley behind 45 South Cafe between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. on December 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18, and the city describes a ride past holiday lights with festive music. The first night falls during the city's Holiday Celebration in nearby Thrasher Park, and on the four later nights Santa poses for photos inside 45 South Cafe from 6 to 8 p.m., so families can pair a short ride with a picture and dinner downtown.
