About this adventure

Santa Claus settles into 45 South Cafe, the coffee shop in historic downtown Norcross, for evening photo sessions on Thursdays and Fridays in mid-December. Families can stop in from 6 to 8 p.m. on December 10, 11, 17 and 18 to share wish lists and pose for a picture, and the city lists a $25 fee for a printed photo. The sessions overlap the city's complimentary carriage rides, which board behind the cafe from 6:30 p.m. on the same nights. On Tuesdays, December 8 and 15, Santa also wanders downtown from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for selfies with shoppers and diners, without a set spot. The page does not say whether families may take their own phone photos, whether appointments are offered or how long the line usually runs.
