About this adventure

Norcross opens its HoliDAYS in Norcross season with an evening Holiday Celebration in Thrasher Park, the downtown park with a playground, gazebo and amphitheater within walking distance of the city's shops and restaurants. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, the city lines up carriage rides, holiday hits, hot cocoa and treats, and a visit from Santa Claus together with his 'not-so-jolly friend,' the Grinch. The city warns that cocoa and treats last only while supplies hold out, so families with small children may want to arrive near the start. The evening also opens the city's complimentary carriage-ride nights downtown, and the Historic Norcross Business Association's all-day Christmas Village follows on Saturday, December 5. The city's page lists no admission fee and no registration, and it does not mention a rain plan.
