About this adventure
Sandy Springs sets up a seasonal outdoor ice rink on the City Green at City Springs from mid-November to MLK weekend. Skaters book a timed one-hour session online, arrive 10–15 minutes early to collect rental skates (included in admission), and skate to holiday music with hot cocoa nearby. Beginners get help from free Skate Helpers on the ice. Every night from 6 p.m. is Glow Night; Fridays from 6 p.m. are Disco Slide Nights with a DJ calling couples' skates, fast laps and limbo, and Saturday nights from 8 to 10 p.m. have dress-up themes such as Pajama Party and Intergalactic Skate Party (costumed skaters get a free cocoa). New this season, weekday sessions cost less than weekends, and kids' tickets cover ages 2–9. Capacity is limited, so reserve ahead or call before walking up; group party packages are also offered.
